The Law Offices of Daniel J. Stevens, LLC is now Stevens & Day, LLP

At the beginning of 2017, Dan Stevens and Avery Day joined together to create Stevens & Day, LLP.  The newly-renamed firm, which replaces the Law Offices of Daniel J. Stevens, LLC, offers clients an expanded set of services and a greater capacity to take on new work, all while maintaining the location, staff, and high quality standards that have enabled our success to date.

Dan and Avery worked together previously at another law firm, and since then have found success in other legal pursuits – Avery in state service in the Governor’s office and the Maine DEP, and Dan in the Law Offices of Daniel J. Stevens, LLC, the very successful solo litigation practice he launched in 2015.

When Avery decided to leave state service and pursue general transactional legal work for clients in Kennebec County and throughout Maine, the creation of Stevens & Day was a natural fit, with Dan’s litigation experience complementing Avery’s transactional work.

Looking ahead, Dan will continue to focus his efforts on representing individuals and families who have been seriously injured or suffered a death as the result of an accident. He will also continue to provide counsel for clients involved in business, real estate, and will & trust disputes. Avery will complement this work with a general practice that includes matters like wills and trusts, real estate transactions, corporate formation, and counsel for small businesses. He will also handle the firm’s administrative law matters, practicing before various state agencies and regulatory boards.
